The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
So, back when I first read this book, I rated it based on how I felt. That's usually how I use my stars.

Over the past two years, however, my interest in the book has waned. Perhaps due to the fact that everyone has been talking about it since and so a) I'm all TFIOS-ed out and b) hello, everyone else is talking about it (and I'm way too cool to do what everyone else does...). I will admit totally and wholeheartedly, however, to not wanting to see the movie because Shalala and her sidekick actor Thorin (what's his name anyway) ruin in for me.

I will never forget how I felt initially, right after closing the book. How important that was. How special. There's no denying its power. But at this point in time, I'm tired of TFIOS.
